Limiteditions X Diadora N9000 (Castellers)
UPDATE: If you passed on these cracking N9000s when they dropped at LimitEDitions then you made a bigger mistake than climbing a 36-foot-tall human tower without a helmet to protect your noggin! Thankfully for those of you that have only now realised the error of your ways, these will be releasing at a select number of additional retailers on November 14th, including afew.
Our homies at are at it again with the crazy concepts, and this time they've used the silhouette from the Diadora vaults to pay tribute to the Catalan tradition of...building human towers? Castellers are people who partake in the making of human towers in these crazy festivals held across Catalonia with roots of the craze dating back to the 18th century. We're really dumbfounded by the whole thing, but head to the 'Castellers de Vilafranca' Wikipedia page to read up all about it! Inspired by the traditional clothing worn by Castellers, the N.9000 is constructed with black kangaroo leather and dons a premium wolverine suede toe section in a lush Atlantis Green, while the heel section features embroidered Castellers graphic below a polka-dotted bandana patch. Lined with goat leather, the finished product is nothing short of breathtaking irregardless of the crazy concept, and as usual with top tier Diadora collaborations, the finish is second to none. The LimitEDitions x Diadora N.9000 'Castellers' will be dropping later this month, stay tuned as we release more details.
