Pony X Rothco Capsule Collection
continues to pinpoint their New York heritage with this military-inspired collaborative alliance with . Founded in 1953 in New York (on Great Jones Street in the East Village), Rothco started out as a World War II army surplus business before becoming one of the largest manufacturers of armed services clothing in the world. Their M-65 field jackets are built G.I. Joe tough and are still in production today. The quality lining is one of ROTHCO’s authentic woodland camo patterns, the very same DPM pattern the US military has deployed for the past 60 years. Heavy artillery was supplied by New York’s Staple Design, who were tapped to embellish the varsity jacket with a swag of removable emblems and tricked-out lightning bolt embroideries. Black PONY Trackitback tactical boots complement the jacket and a camo backpack rounds out the hybrid package. You can collect the entire capsule collection now at select retailers including Reed Space in NYC, Overkill in Berlin, Colette in Paris, Footpatrol in the UK, Acht in Amsterdam and on PONY'S webstore .
