Monthly Mods: The Best Custom Sneakers From August

August is coming to an end, which means our Monthly Mods segment is back, and we’ve highlighted the hottest custom creps of the past few weeks. July’s edition topped the charts, and we had stacks of amazing bespoke creations from all your favourite customisers – but August has taken it to a whole new level.

Alongside all the usual Air Force 1, Dunk and Air Jordan 1 customs, there are plenty of inventive new takes on a slew of New Balance models like the 550, 992 and 990v3. Interestingly, there’s been an uptick in bespoke Air Max 1s, including a ‘Chunky Dunky’ edition and Snakeskin Off-White joint. Another standout was the detailed ‘Curtiss P-40 Warhawk’ Air Max 90.
