The adidas Forum 84 Hi Exudes Vintage Vibes
Back in 2020, the was catapulted back into the sneakersphere after hibernating in the Team Trefoil archives. Born in 1984 in both high- and low-top versions the Forum was once a status symbol, boasting an at the time gigantic $100 RRP and reserved for pro athletes, entertainers and those who could fork out the bread. In the modern age though, it’s become a sneakersphere mainstay thanks to its meteoric rise through highly limited collaborations, plenty of hype and retro returns. Never forgetting its past, adidas are honouring the silhouette by creating a new iteration that's injected with vintage vibes in the classic blue and white colourway.
A product of its time as an 80s baller, leather covers the entirety of the upper with old school perforations on the toe and in between the Three Stripes side branding. An epic throwback two-tone makeup can be seen, utilising a timeless white base while blue accents add some spice. Purposely done scuff marks, fading and slightly-yellowed midsole give off a worn aesthetic.
Who actually has a pair of adidas Forums from the 80s that looks this worn? These high-top bad boys are expected to arrive at select Trefoil stores over the coming months. Keep those eyes peeled.
