Update February 6, 2024: Official images of Song for the Mute x adidas Originals’ third collaboration have arrived. According to adidas, all three iterations are inspired by the 90s. The pale grey and teal variations are a nod to vintage windbreakers, while the third one arrives with classic black leather with suede detailing. All shoes are equipped with metallic D-ring hardware as an ode to the toggle lacing system of a paracord.

Update February 5, 2024: Song for the Mute are getting ready to drop a set of new adidas Country silhouettes. Fans can expect the classic kicks to arrive in grey, brown and blue. Unlike the duo's initial release, which featured a more sleek look, the upcoming three versions sport sherpa-inspired Three Stripes along with rough suede patches near the front of the style, giving it an overall edgy aesthetic.

Australian brand have once again joined forces with to rework one of the footwear label's classic silhouettes. Set to debut at Paris Fashion Week, the team-up will debut during Paris Fashion Week at Song for the Mute’s showroom from January 17 to 22.
On top of apparel, the – adidas's 1978 trail runner – has been reimagined with a hairy suede upper. Based on a sneak peek shared by Song for the Mute, the silhouette comes in five different colourways: maroon, brown, green, black and silver. All variations seem to have similar glossy toes, while an extra patterned lace comes attached to the main lacing system. Elsewhere, the tongue boasts a handwritten version of adidas's logo with 'SFTM' underneath, while an 'SFTM-003' tag can be found stitched near the heel.
A release date, price point and official colourway names have not been disclosed yet. More information might be released after SFTM's showroom.
