Yeezy Supply Stealthily Released the Yeezy BSKTBL KNIT 3D 'Slate Blue'
No matter if you want to call him Ye, , or something else entirely, you can't deny that the man behind the Yeezy line is a master of surprise. For his latest trick, he's shock-dropped the in a 'Slate Blue' colourway.
Originally teased by the crew at back in October, the BSKTBL KNIT 3D is a spiritual successor to the , and bears some similarities to the . Though we didn't expect to see the BSKTBL KNIT 3D until , its drop at midnight EST on Monday made it a late addition to 2021's Yeezy lineup, and its debut colourway was much more muted than the one seen in the above-mentioned mockups.
Of course, the jury is still out on the model as an actual performance hoop shoe, but it appears to offer an upgrade over the Quantum thanks to a full Primeknit upper with a high-cut sock collar, dressed in shades of grey, blue and black. Just like the Quantum, it's completed by a large heel counter and a full-length BOOST midsole.
