adidas Yeezy Have Debuted New Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT Silhouette
and ' line are releasing some new silhouettes for us before 2021 draws to a close. Last week, we saw the and this week 'Ye has given us another low-cut lifestyle silhouette dubbed the also debuting in a 'Slate Blue' colourway.
The simplest way to describe the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT is that it's a streamlined take on the . In a mock-up and an early production photo revealed by the Yeezy leak wizards at Yeezy Mafia, the CMPCT looks to feature the same multi-texture Primeknit upper as the above-mentioned BSKTBL KNIT 3D and is topped off by a separate collar piece that's high around the wearer's tibia and Achilles but lower around their ankles. On the 'Slate Blue' colourway, this build combines (you guessed it) slate and blue shades with a touch of black detailing as well. Though an official shot of the midsole has yet to be revealed, Yeezy Mafia's mock-up indicates that it'll be nearly identical to the bulbous, BOOST-filled tooling used on the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2.
It's been half a decade since the 350 line gained a new member: the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 has been out since 2016, and the original debuted in 2015. Will the CMPCT be tapped to carry the torch for the line in the same way its predecessors have, or is it a simple offshoot of 350 in the way the is to the 700 line? Only time will tell, but for now, we know that the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT 'Slate Blue' is set to release in December 2021 and will retail for $220. A 'Slate Red' colourway will reportedly follow in 2022 as well.
