Afew Are Raffling Off a 1-Of-1 Air Max 1 Custom to Raise Funds for Charity
2022 is right around the corner, and German sneaker boutique are celebrating with a 1-of-1 custom that they'll be auctioning off for charity. Conceptualised by psychologist, painter and stylist Olivia Acar and crafted by creative studio Tornschuhjette, the custom Air Max 1 is a futuristic take on very first sneaker with visible Air – and it's positively loaded with special details!
Dressed in a mixture of white, grey, blue and orange, the shoe features accent materials that were sourced from vintage Nike apparel pieces. It's also surrounded by a removable, -like exoskeleton made of colourful, see-through tubing and solid plastic arms that can be mounted, dismounted and adjusted thanks to its recessed screws. Swooshes and insoles alike also feature a special painted print created by Acar.
If you're looking to get your hands on this 1-of-1 sneaker-slash-art-object, it'll be put up for raffle at Afew's Air Max Day Vintage Charity Flea Market, located at Ergo Ipsum, Herzogstraße 89 in 40215 Düsseldorf, on March 26. All proceeds will go to , a charitable organization that aims to help children affected by the war in Ukraine.
