This Air Jordan 1 'Family' PE Was Made Exclusively for Jordan Brand Athletes

Jordan Brand are fond of blessing their athlete roster with special PEs that nod to the overarching Jumpman brotherhood. Back in December, they hit their NBA, WNBA, MLB and NFL athletes off with Air Jordan 6 'Fraternity' PEs, and now they're blessing their team once again with a special Air Jordan 1 that's simply dubbed 'Family.'

Limited to under 80 pairs, the 'Family' is not lacking for flair, thanks to an oil slick-like iridescent upper that shimmers in teal, blue and purple and a painted midsole with a rainbow-like effect. Essentially, it's the ultimate version of all the iridescent-accented Air Jordan 1s and Air Jordan 1 Mids you've seen over the years. Finishing off the look are a supple black suede toebox, murky black tongue and laces and black Swooshes. Sample and PE collector @englishsole, who revealed the pair, revelled in its quality, stating that it was comparable to the kicks in the famous 'Legends of the Summer' pack.

Unless you've got deep pockets or a personal connection at Jordan Brand, you're probably not scoring a pair of these Air Jordan 1s, but you can enjoy all their iridescent glory directly above.
