Official Images: Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 'Georgetown'
Billed as the most accurate re-creation of first signature sneaker ever, the is set to arrive to market in a 'Georgetown' colourway this spring – official images of which just surfaced. Inspired by an unreleased Air Jordan 1 PE made for the Georgetown Hoyas in the 1980s, this 'new' colourway from gives off peak 80s hoops style!
The main differences between the and Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 are that the Hi '85 has a taller, flatter collar than the plain AJ1 and equips a smaller ball-and-wings logo. It's crafted from a more premium-grade leather than its counterpart, features an aged nylon tongue and makes use of a digitally-recreated OG midsole that replicates the spacing and branding of the very first pairs. From a colourway standpoint, the 'Georgetown' displays the Hoyas' navy and grey palette in classic two-tone style, and also comes equipped with the same hangtag that the original Air Jordan 1s featured back in 1985.
The release of a Hi '85 is a rare treat, as the model was debuted for All-Star Weekend 2020 and has only seen three colourways since then: and in 2020, plus in 2021, making the 'Georgetown' the fourth Hi '85 style to hit shelves.
An exact date of arrival for the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 'Georgetown' has yet to be revealed, but it's supposed to reach retailers sometime this April (barring ) and will be priced at $200.
