The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Tees up a ‘Shattered Backboard’ Colourway
continued efforts to bridge the gap between hoops and golf and make golf 'cool' to a new audience have resulted in many a popular colourway being reworked for the links. We've seen everything from to take their turns and now the roster is expanding by one with the reveal of a familiar 'Shattered Backboard' style.
The 'Shattered Backboard' scheme was first seen back in 2015, but has already grown to become one of the Jumpman's most popular palettes, and this Air Jordan 1 Low Golf – revealed by – repurposes the original 'Shattered Backboard' colourblocking to great effect. Orange toeboxes, heels, outsoles and tongue detailing contrast with the cream and black base, while the shoe's tweaked construction is nodded to on the tongues and insoles. Though the top is all classic Air Jordan, this tweaked construction makes its presence felt on the bottom half with an outsole that boasts a golf-specific traction pattern and a special Golf hit.
At the time of writing, a release date for the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf 'Shattered Backboard' has yet to be announced. However, it'll likely touch down in the coming weeks. If past drops are any indication, the MSRP will be set at $140.
