The Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Bred’ Gets a Slight Tweak
Repetition equals results – at least in the case of the in its idiosyncratic ‘Bred’ colourway. Remixed again and again, have figured out that even tweaking one panel from black to red (and vice versa) is enough to warrant a brand new colourway with an additional SKU added to the catalogue. Thus, here is another take on the classic combo, presented on the AJ1 Mid.
Black leather lands on the toe cap, mid panel, heel counter, eye stays, tongue, and upper ankle collar of this shoe. Being the eight-eyeleted Mid variant, the overlapping ankle flap is stitched on at a higher angle, and here it adds red, alongside the Swoosh, laces, toe box and lining. Effectively an infallible execution regardless of the model it lives on, the inclusion of Jumpman branding on the tongue and insole is a reminder that while this is not necessarily the pinnacle variant of the AJ1, it is an ideal daily ‘Bred’ beater.
Like many Air Jordan 1 Mids, there might not be a hard launch date for this new drop, but it will likely show up at retailers in the coming weeks. That being said, the provenance of this colourway may result in it requiring more strict release rules.
