Another day, another Air Jordan 1! Michael Jordan’s pinnacle silhouette has been dominating the sneakersphere for the past half-decade, with Jordan Brand dropping pairs on an almost weekly basis. Multiple colourways have already been scheduled for release over the coming few months as we head into the Northern Hemisphere’s warmer season, including the vintage-inspired ‘Washed Black’ and crisp ‘Vibrations of Naija’. Although for their latest, Jordan Brand are taking it back to where it all began, crafting another ‘UNC’-inspired AJ1.

Early leaked imagery has been floating around of this pair for a while and has been dubbed ‘UNC Toe’, which uses the signature ‘University Blue’ tone. The upper takes a similar colour-blocking strategy to its predecessors, boasting a mostly black upper with added complementary white and blue additions. The wings logo remains on the lateral heel, alongside the usual side Swooshes.

So far, this pair hasn’t been confirmed by Jordan Brand, but a release is looking to be coming soon. Stay locked for updates on the Air Jordan 1 ‘UNC Toe’.
