‘Concord’ Lands on the Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low
The CMFT Low is a contemporary update inspired by the iconic MJ signature model from the mid 1990s. Using the AJ11’s original pattern as a foundation, the CMFT Low tweaks panel proportions and incorporates new-tech to suit modern styling. The distinct patent mudguard and toe wrap has been enlarged per the ‘bigger is better’ mentality and this ethos extends to the soles. While the herringbone traction pattern is retained below, the new version ditches the large carbon fibre arch plate found on the OG. Hiding throughout the midsole is the brilliant Zoom Air cushioning.
While some elements take the XXL treatment, other sections are relatively stripped back. The webbed lace loops nod to the 1995 edition, but only the top section peeks above the eyestays. The heel counter is white leather just like the original, and Jumpman branding is evident throughout.
While the classic white-and-black AJ11 is colloquially referred to as the 'Concord', the namesake colour name is entirely absent on the Nike tech sheet here! Sneaker trivia... 'Concord' technically refers to the dark blue found on the outsole and not the black/white combo.
In any case, find these Air Jordan 11 CMFT Lows at Nike retailers in coming months.
