Not literally, of course – unless there’s plans for a third instalment of the . Anyway, the CMFT Low is currently doing the rounds as a 2022 update to the GOATed model from almost three decades prior. With OG colourways including the ‘Concord’ and ‘Bred’ already confirmed, it’s just about inevitable that the ‘Space Jam’ was on the way.
ICYMI the CMFT designation means this is a comfort-orientated take on the AJ11, but it’s just as capable on the basketball court when required. Its major update sees Zoom Air cushioning in place of regular ol’ Air – a technology that would debut on the signature Jordan line in the .
Elsewhere, things look pretty familiar. The big mudguard is still patent, and this oversized one wraps up higher on the toe and sides. As there’s more of everything, there’s additional surface area for the leather rear quarter to occupy – something used quite minimally on the original. Similarly, plenty of ballistic nylon can be found on the tongue and ankle collar, in spite of this model’s lower cut.
And per the ‘Space Jam’ name, it’s all black up top with some blue Jumpman branding, before meeting a white midsole and ice outsole. And they should be landing soon.
