The UNC Tar Heels Receive Air Jordan 12 PE Cleat

College football is back, and the University of North Carolina’s Tar Heels are preparing to face off against the South Carolina Gamecocks this weekend. Ahead of the anticipated match-up, UNC have unveiled a fresh pair of Air Jordan 12 cleats as this season’s PE, or Player Exclusive, from their Jordan Brand sponsors.

ICYMI, earlier this year Jordan Brand blessed UNC, as well as other sponsored schools with Air Jordan 1 Low PEs, decked out in the team colours. You should be expecting more team-themed AJ12 cleats to surface from other colleges as the NCAA season plays out.

For UNC’s iteration, Jordan Brand have decked out the upper in signature Air Jordan 12 tooling, plastering the signature stitching down the sides and metal lace loops up top. A two-tone colourway has been employed, composed of the Tar Heels signature ‘Carolina Blue’ hue and white. The college's emblem and Jumpman logo reaches the rear pull tabs and tongue.

As these are a Player Exclusive, don’t expect pars to be made available to the public.
