The Air Jordan 3 'Black Cat' Pounces in 2025

Update February 14, 2024: We know that some of you might have been expecting the Air Jordan 3 'Black Cat' this year. However, according to recent reports, the silhouette is now expected to drop in Spring 2025 instead. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for official confirmation from Nike.

The ‘Black Cat’ colourway has hit a handful of Air Jordans but alongside the Air Jordan 4, the Air Jordan 3 ‘Black Cat’ is a sneaker that’s looked back on fondly today. According to Sneaker Files, the murdered-out Air Jordan 3 is set to return next year, just in time for the holidays.

The Air Jordan 3 ‘Black Cat’ was first released in 2007, and the storytelling around the sneaker comes from Michael Jordan’s nickname by his close friends and peers, as Mike moved stealthily and could strike at any time on the hardwood. The all-black sneaker uses materials to bring some contrast to the sneaker, using nubuck on the base with patent leather hits and the signature elephant print getting the blackout treatment. The Jumpman adorns the tongue and heel counter as a shiny black midsole and black outsole finish the sneaker.
