Air Jordan 4 'Lightning' Could Make a Shock Return in 2021
One of the most sought-after in recent memory – the colourway – is set to return for the first time ever, if the rumours are anything to go by. Debuting the 2006, the electric Jay has never been reissued, but could be bringing the 4 back into the fore in mid-2021.
Known for its bright ‘Tour Yellow’ exterior, the colourway has received renewed interest in the secondary market thanks to Travis Scott, with prices hitting an all-time high. Much like its counterpart, it makes use of yellow and black on the upper, with a bit of grey thrown in for good measure. Yellow is used on most of the nubuck, with the side panel mesh and hardware details done in black. Meanwhile, grey features on the side profile flap, as well as the rear and tongue Jumpman branding. Completing the look is a classic white midsole and black outsole combo.
We’re not sure whether the reissued version will be identical to the OG, but if there are any changes, expect them to be minimal.
Currently unconfirmed, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Lightning’ is rumoured to return sometime in August, 2021. We’ll keep snooping around for additional info in the meantime.
