Shown off by the fittingly-named , this low-cut Air Jordan 5 is joyfully childish, with a bright colour scheme that combines oranges, greens, blues and reds. It was designed by 11-year-old Michael Wilson, who's affectionately known as 'Spitfire' by the hospital staff. Wilson, who's battling Krabbe disease, used his to salute a few of his favourite things like sharks, aeroplanes and mac and cheese.
The shark inspiration can be seen via a sinister eye under the midfoot's plastic netting and aeroplanes are acknowledged by 'Pull To Eject' hangtags while mac and cheese is spread all over the forefoot – quite literally, thanks to a debossed print on the toebox and a special lace deubre.
Other special details include Wilson's initials under the Jumpman logo on the heel plus an interchangeable set of patches. There's a Swoosh under the medial midfoot netting, more mac and cheese print around the collar and custom insole graphics as well.
We'll find out more about Wilson's sneakers and the rest of the collection come February 25, but for now, you can see all the details above.
