Official Look: Air Jordan 5 'Midnight Navy'

Jordan Brand’s retro catalogue is vast, so they can’t show major love to every model at all times during the year. The Air Jordan 1 has been leading the charge in 2023, closely followed by the AJ4 and and AJ2. While the Air Jordan 5 hasn’t seen any big releases this year, the 1990 silhouette has been subtly succeeding. Next up for the AJ5 is a brand new colourway that was unveiled in Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2023 collection, dubbed ‘Navy’.

Following the ‘Burgundy’ and unveiling of the A Ma Maniére colab, the ‘Navy’ comes in a simplistic all-over ‘Midnight Navy’ colour combo with a contrasting white midsole and icy blue outsole. Composed with a mix of leather and suede, the TPU panelling and eyestays stand out in black with complementary cement splatter on the midsole teeth.

This Air Jordan 5 Special Edition ‘Navy’ has been officially confirmed by Jordan Brand to arrive during the Holiday 2023 season. An exact release date has been alleged to be November 10.
