Out Now: Aleali May x Clarks Wallabee Collaboration

Aleali May is one of the most prolific sneaker collaborators in the industry today, having a number of Jordan Brand collaborators to her name, plus even establishing her own line of apparel, Mayde Worldwide. Now she’s ready to expand even further with her latest creation. Teaming up with Clarks, the brand tapped May to spin her take on the iconic Clarks Wallabee. According to May, Clarks first reached out back in 2021, with samples surfacing earlier this month. Featuring five takes on the Wallabee, May looks to have ramped up the colour and re-upped the construction.

Opting for four vibrant colours including yellow, orange, red and blue, along with a nude pair, May has applied some LA inspiration to the design, referencing LA house slippers and the washed hues synonymous with LA golden hour at the beach. That’s why you’ll find that the uppers have been crafted from corduroy, along with premium suede binding on the collar and vamp.
