ALL GONE, Paperboy Paris and New Balance Prep Paris-Exclusive 991 Colab
Michael Dupouy of and fame is celebrating the latest instalment in his yearly ALL GONE book series by teaming up with Paperboy Paris and for an ultra-limited colab. Marking Dupoy's fifth New Balance collab in total (his first was all the way back in 2006!) this three-party offering is alive with Parisian flair and special branding.
Using the signature pastel tones present on the covers of Dupouy's ALL GONE books, the made in the UK shoes feature rich pink and soft tan pig suedes atop a white mesh base, with a shimmering green N logo taking up residence on the quarter panels. Special branding is provided by a Paperboy Paris logo on the tongue and an ALL GONE hit split between each shoe's red leather heel window. Two-tone midsoles packed full of ABZORB cushioning round off the look, and each pair comes packaged in a specially silkscreened box.
If you want to get a pair, you're out of luck unless you happen to be in Paris today, January 21. As noted in Dupoy's Instagram caption above, the only way to get a pair is to attend the ALL GONE launch party at Paperboy Paris, and hope the copy of ALL GONE 2021 you purchase has a 'magic card' inside it that'll allow you to secure a pair. Winners also have the option of having Dupoy and Paperboy Paris founder James Dridi sign their shoes or shoeboxes.
Elsewhere in the world of New Balance, the brand have filed virtual trademark applications – meaning they're likely gearing up to make inroads in the metaverse. Find out more .
