An Official Look at The Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘85’
The has been killing the game this year, and that hype train is sure to continue in 2021 as we’ve already seen a slew of leaks, teasers and rumours over the past few months for Highs, Lows and Mids that are all expected to drop next year. One of those is this Air Jordan 1 Mid dubbed the ‘85’, and from what we know it may be connected to first-ever NBA All-Star Game that was played in 1985 in Indianapolis. The alleged connection there stems from the colours of both teams jerseys.
Taking a look at the shoe, have decked out the upper in a full tumbled leather look with matching mesh-like material used on the tongue. The colour combo is the most interesting part, with a mostly-white base, we’ve got the mismatched look with red hits plastered onto the left pair and blue scattered on the right pair, with matching outsoles and tongue branding on each. Finishing off the look is the ’85’ that’s been embroidered on the lateral heel in the corresponding tone on each shoe.
Sadly, we don’t have any release details regarding the Air Jordan 1 Mid ’85’, but with this official look surfacing of the Grade School silhouette, we’re going to assume that it’ll be hitting shelves in the early days of 2021. And hoping it will eventually emerge in adult sizes too.
