Blake Griffin Gives Some McLovin to the Air Jordan 35
Blake Griffin has become the latest athlete to add his personal touch to the , ballin’ last week in a colourful build inspired by a key motif from one of his favourite movies. The light-hearted design references cult-favourite film Superbad, in particular the moment when the bespeckled and underage Fogell attempts to buy booze with an obviously fake ID card – which is recreated on the tongue but with Griffin’s details this time. The colourway is mostly blue and white, before making full use of the rainbow stripe from McLovin’s celebrated Hawaiian driver license.
The Air Jordan 35 just keeps bringing those special builds for Jumpman team members. Last week we saw the Dallas Cowboys–inspired AJ35s for Caris LeVert, and prior to that we’d seen a super colourful drip for , a vibrant for Rui Hachimura, a theme for Jayson Tatum, and the for Zion Williamson.
The large ‘F & F’ text on the inside of each tongue suggests this hilarious Air Jordan 35 colourway won’t get a wider release, but anything’s possible in showbiz.
