American luxury label Bode have been making waves the past few years using quilting and mending on each tailor-made piece, and the brand is now linking up with Nike on a 1970s sneaker that has never been retroed in Fall 2024.

The Astro Grabber was one of Nike’s first sneakers in 1974 that was meant for playing gridiron, with exaggerated nubs on the outsole used for traction on the football field. Bode’s version takes on an Americana preppy aesthetic and looks like a shoe straight out of Super Bowl VIII. Buttery and premium leather make up the black base with sail seen on the Swoosh and laces. Bode and Nike co-branding are seen on the tongue tag with a gold lace dubrae featured on the left sneaker as a black midsole and outsole finishes the sneaker.

Expect the Bode x Nike Astro Grabber to drop in Fall 2024 via Bode and Nike’s channels. Check out the photos of the collaborative sneaker above and keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any updates.
