Update May 19, 2023: Following the initial soft launch via their lookbook, Bodega have now teased their upcoming New Balance 610 collaboration and blessed us with an exclusive first look. The retailer said, ‘Your footwear shouldn’t be a lock but a key, opening up a world of possibilities.’

Infused with that mindset and exuding an outdoor vibe, the NB610 has been decked out in Composite tech, C-CAP midsole, 3M accents and multiple lacing options. Its rugged trial vibe has been evened out by the blueberry colourway and subtle coloured accents.

You’ll be able to cop the Bodega x New Balance 610 via the retailer’s webstore on June 9.

Bodega are good at many things, but they’re especially exceptional at collaborating and teasing said collaborations. This year already, the Boston-based retailer have been tapped by adidas and BEAMS for a preppy collection, Vans for the ‘Mid-Top Modern’ pack, and recently Crocs for a ‘NICT-TECH’ clog. While the latter colab is still yet to drop, Bodega may have just teased their next venture – a New Balance 610!

The cheeky pre-release look came via the recent Bodega lookbook, which has been a regular platform for the retailer to preview their upcoming footwear collaborations. Covered in a mix of blues, purples and blacks, exuding a signature Bodega vibe alongside hiking-style laces and rear pull tabs. While they haven’t officially announced this is a colab, it makes sense seeing as the 610 returned to shelves recently, and Joe Freshgoods released his collaborative pairs.

There’s no word on a release date for the alleged Bodega x New Balance 610, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear anything.
