Update October 14, 2022: These CPFM x Nike Dunk Lows are still yet to release officially, but the hype is still circulating. Most recently fuelled by Kid Cudi, who managed to cop a pair early! Check out the pics and stay locked here for more info as it surfaces.
One of the more eclectic, enigmatic brands in the sneaker industry, Cynthia Lu’s continue to produce experimental collaborations that think well outside the box. From Nike with -style branding to the bedazzled of 2020, no silhouette is safe from the psychedelic Japanese imprint! The latest model to visit the Flea Market is another Dunk Low, this time barely resembling the iconic blueprints of the 1980s hooper.
Two years since their previous Dunk collaboration, CPFM have replaced the classic leather uppers with a suede material featuring a quilted triangle pattern. Stamped with both oversized and mini Swooshes, the Dunk also features Yin Yang logos on the lateral heels (a motif typical of the brand). Mismatched sockliners add even more personality, while the puffy tongues and two sets of thick laces extend the hiking vernacular of the collaboration. Down below, shaggy ‘Mossy Green’ textured midsoles extend up to the mudguards.
Finally, the Dunk Low comes with a brown terry cloth drawstring bag again featuring the Yin Yang symbol and classic Nike ‘Just Do It’ branding.
Look for the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Dunk Low to land in the coming months. Keep an eye on SNKRS for the release. In the meantime, head to Nike’s webstore via the link below and check out all the latest Dunks!
