(CPFM) are undoubtedly one of the most creative outfits in the sneaker industry today. Led by the enigmatic Cynthia Lu, CPFM recently went to town on the releasing the bejewelled, glam-rock iteration and puffy, trail-inspired version that barely resembled the 1980s hooper at all.
Their latest Nike Dunk collaboration looks even less like its legendary progenitor, the ‘Grinch’ design inspired by Dr Seuss’s perpetual Christmas provocateur. In terms of construction, this one looks like your cat coughed up the green beast, with a mound of faux fur applied to the uppers.
CPFM’s signature Yin Yang is once again stamped on the lateral heels, while Nike and CPFM branding appear on the left and right tongues. Once again, Nike’s eco-conscious Grind Rubber is applied to the soles, while the classic heat map motif strikes the insoles.
It also looks like the collaboration will come with a special fleece dust bag.
Expect the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Dunk Low ‘Grinch’ to arrive over the festive period.
