Stanford's Cameron Brink Signs NIL Deal With New Balance
We’re in the NIL age of college athletics, and are getting in on the action as they’ve announced that Stanford forward Cameron Brink will be their first women’s basketball athlete. Although Brink is still in college, her resume is an extensive one: National Champion, two-time All-American, two-time Pac 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and a FIBA 3x3 World Cup gold medal and MVP isn’t too shabby at 21. Brink will be joining the likes of Kawhi Leonard, Jamal Murray, Zach Lavine, and Dejounte Murray as New Balance continues to grow their basketball roster.
‘I am honoured and excited to join forces with New Balance,’ said Cameron Brink. ‘Their ability to empower athletes perfectly aligns with my own values, and I look forward to this journey with them. I hope we inspire athletes around the world to fearlessly pursue their dreams.’
‘We are thrilled to welcome Cameron as the first female basketball player to join the New Balance family,’ says Naveen Lokesh, Head of Basketball Sports Marketing. ‘Cameron's exceptional skill on the court and her desire to give back align perfectly with New Balance’s desire to change the game for the better. We are excited to support Cameron reaching new heights in her career and contributing to the growth of women’s basketball for years to come.’
Expect Brink to be rocking New Balance in upcoming campaigns, ranging from performance to lifestyle as she’ll be working with footwear and apparel design teams on future products.
