Closer Look: Air Jordan 4 ‘Taupe Haze’ Has Subtle Travis Scott Vibes
We first caught wind of the ‘Taupe Haze’ after a earlier in the year, and now we’ve got our best look yet at the colourway, just days after the hit the web. The neutral-hued sneaker shares plenty of similarities to Travis Scott’s collaboration, but Jordanheads can look forward to a far more accessible drop compared to La Flame’s unreleased Grail.
That said, there’s nothing underwhelming about this colourway – we predict this will be one of more sought-after GR drops of 2021. Dressed in a ‘Taupe Haze’, ‘Oil Grey’, ‘Off White’, and ‘Infrared 23’ scheme, the sneaker makes use of a ‘Taupe Haze’ cracked upper, which is designed to wear-away over time, revealing a new look underneath. Black details offer a subtle contrast, with the darker tones hitting on the plastic wing flaps, liner, laces, and outsole. Additionally, the midsole receives a pleasant ‘Sail’ hue, with pops of ‘Infrared’ at the tongue and outsole adding some hot punch to the mix.
An official release date is yet to be confirmed. However, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Taupe Haze’ has been tentatively rumoured for a drop on February 6 at select retailers and Nike. We’ll be sure to bring you more pics and info when it comes to light.
