is fresh off an , with an the next silhouette in her sights, but it’s this camo-clad that has piqued the most interest in recent times. Believed to be an exclusive Friends and Family colourway, the sneaker was actually first teased by Aleali on Veterans Day in 2020. The sneaker features a rip-stop nylon upper, covered in brown and green camouflage print. Meanwhile, there’s suede midsoles and heel tabs along with a purple quilted insole stamped with Aleali’s ‘A’ logo. Adding to the militaristic details is a removable velcro ‘Jumpman Compass’ patch, which replaces the standard ‘Flight’ branding on the tongues. The patch is a nod to the 4th Infantry Divisions’ combat service identification badge.
Unlikely to ever release to the public, this Aleali May x Air Jordan 4 is said to be a tribute to the designer’s father who served in the US Army from 1990 to 2013, fighting in the Gulf War during his tenure.
