Closer Look at the Air Jordan 1 'Silver Toe'

Leaked back in May, we caught wind of a silver-clad Air Jordan 1 colourway for early 2021. At the time, it was speculatively being called the ‘Metallic Silver’, but with the emergence of new pics, it looks like it’s safe to dub the new colourway the ‘Silver Toe’.

The latest leaked pictorial gives us the first IRL look at the upcoming Jay, which is arranged in the familiar ‘Black Toe’ colour-blocking. For the upper, black leather appears around the toe, quarter foot section, tongue, side Swooshes, ankle branding, and on the collar underlay. The midfoot panel delivers a strong contrast in white, with the toe box, ankle flaps, and bottom heel overlay dressed in luxurious silver. Down below, a classic white midsole/black outsole provides the finishing touches.

Those with a keen eye may notice the similarities to the sought-after Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 from 2017. The 2021 ‘Silver Toe’ almost wears the exact same scheme, minus the blacked-out mid panel and unique materials.

Releasing in women’s sizing, the Air Jordan 1 ‘Silver Toe’ will also likely come in toddler sizing. No official release date has been revealed, but rumours suggest a drop in February 2021. We’ll bring you confirmation ASAP!
