Closer Look: The Frame Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Habibi’
You can’t deny the of the humble , but we’re glad to see are still looking to collaborate with skate shops. One of latest projects in the pipeline is an intriguing Dunk Low colourway created alongside Dubai skate shop Frame Skate.
After a at the colourway, we’ve now got a detailed look at the shoe, which features ‘Chile Red’, white, ‘Lucky Green’, and black – inspired by the colours of the United Arab Emirates flag. The upper features white tumbled leather on the toe and collar, with the side panels done up in a contrasting netted mesh material. There’s bright red leather overlays, as well as red/white fat laces, while an aged midsole and gum outsole hit the bottom. Finally, the side Swoosh comes through as the wildest feature, double stacked in green and black, reminding us of the popular sacai x Nike collaborative canon.
After some speculation, it looks like the Frame Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low will be nicknamed the ‘Habibi’, which roughly translates to ‘my love’ in Arabic. Are they garnering your affection?
Look out for these to drop before the end of the year at select skate shops. We’ll bring you more info when it surfaces.
