Official Images: Concepts x Nike Air Max 1
sent Air Max fans around the world into a tizzy back in January when their ultra-colourful, boisterously-patterned take on the was . Then, things got even crazier when a and pair were revealed in the following days! Now, we're getting some solid info on the vivid kicks, as official images of the third style – a variant of which was first revealed by Concepts creative director Deon Point – have been revealed.
There's a lot that's yet to be announced regarding the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 collection, but what's known without a doubt is it's fearless in its array of materials and colours. The pair in question features everything from washed denim to a duo of special prints (look at how that Concepts logo is worked in on the heel!), velvet tongues, pops of corduroy, textured canvas and much more.
Besides the upper's in-your-face machinations, there's also a custom guitar pick hangtag, specially printed insoles and a unique shoebox. Neither Concepts or Nike have made any official comment on the design's inspiration, but if we had to take a stab our guess would be that it draws from the free-flowing spirit and music of the late 1960s. If Air Max were around back then, Jimi Hendrix would definitely rock these! It's also possible with all the different variations and colours we've seen that each pair could be a one-of-one with randomized accent placement.
Any way it goes, keep it locked right here for more info on the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1's inspiration, release date and price – we'll bring you updates as soon as they're available.
