Converse 'in Their Shoes' Party Recap
The 'In Their Shoes' initiative headed by Warner Music and Converse has come to a close and a massive $35K was raised for charity, with a bulk going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Warner called on the scribbling talents of tons of their star artists including the likes of You Am I, Skrillex, Wavves and scores more. Some of them just had a little doodle on the blank canvas , but others like the band Fun, went all out and drenched the shoe in crazy colours. Bon Iver even wrote 'Nike' on the side of his pair – why didn't he go for the full Swoosh graphic? We wonder if he thinks he was being cheeky or is well aware Nike bosses Converse these days on the corporate side of things. All 80 pairs sold on eBay but there was a sweaty physical celebration of the cause too, with a party going down in Sydney with all the Chucks on display. Peep the pics from the night above.
