Converse Japan Take to the Skies with NASA

NASA x Converse Collection

Back in 2018 and 2019, the market was replete with NASA-branded sneakers, with Nike, PUMA, ANTA and Vans all getting patched up by the space-exploration institution. Now, we’re getting back on the launchpad, this time with Converse Japan for a three-strong galactic collection.

First up, two Chuck Taylors are dressed in white spacesuits of lightweight, durable high-density polyethylene non-woven fabric. The two iterations feature either a blue sole and black laces, or white underfoot and orange shoe strings to lock everything down. A white One Star rounds out the pack, sporting black, orange and metallic details.

As with NASA’s previous co-branded efforts, logos and spacey details abound, and lunar footprint or diagrammatic innersoles add the final touch.

These are set to launch in March, so strap in and take one small step for man…
