Crocs Tap Bodega to Create All-Terrain ‘NICT-TECH’ Clog

In this world, nothing can be said to be certain except death, taxes and heater collaborations from Bodega! The Boston-based boutique are on a collaborative hot streak in 2023, having tapped by brands such as adidas, HOKA and Vans to create expertly crafted colabs. Usually, their linkups have weird and wacky inspirations, and with that said, their next venture is with Crocs. The duo were tasked with an All-Terrain Clog, and they looked to the nictitating membrane as their inspiration.

The nictitating membrane is one of the most niche inspiration points for a shoe we’ve ever heard of, but it’s actually a secondary eyelid that some animals possess that keeps their eyelids moist without the need to blink. Kitted out with a rugged sole unit and reinforced rear straps, the All-Terrain Clog was the perfect canvas for the ’NICT-TECH’ design. The upper has been bolstered with camo details, but the real highlight comes in the form of the removable hood and pouch that’s been tried and tested for action in the outdoors.

Bodega and Crocs’ All-Terrain ‘NICT-TECH’ Clog will land on May 12 on a first come, first serve basis at the retailer’s Boston and LA locations.
