Dennis Schröder Says He Won’t Wear Nike Kyries Anymore Following Altercation
LA Lakers point guard Dennis Schröder says he doesn’t wear signature sneakers anymore. Likely responding to an on-court altercation he had with Irving back in April, Schröder says he plans to give away the 30-40 Kyrie colourways he currently owns.
‘Unfortunately I can’t wear them no more, it’s not possible after what happened in the game,’ says German-born Schröder in a recent YouTube video.
‘I cannot do it, not going to wear it again… We will do giveaways for everyone who wants them, I’ll donate so text me.’
He’s a size 12 for those playing at home…
Back on April 10, the LA Lakers and Irving’s Brooklyn Nets matched up at the Barclays Center in NYC. In the third quarter, Schröder and Irving were involved in a heated on-court argument, getting in each other’s faces in the process. Schröder had shown clear frustration at the lack of fouls being called against his superstar opponent, and both players were eventually handed technicals and ejected from the game.
Considering the size of his collection, we don’t expect Dennis to be short of sneaker options moving forward. He’s regularly gamed Kyries during his career, but has also been frequently spotted in everything from to .
