Here's What Happened at the Harrolds Night of Nike
Mill Place in Melbourne’s CBD was taken over last Thursday by high-end retailer Harrolds to host an unmissable soiree for . It’s been almost a year since Team Swoosh have been present at Harrolds, so they didn’t hold back on the celebrations.
Hundreds of attendees stormed the backstreet Burn City venue to celebrate the year-long relationship, sporting everything from Air Jordans to collaborative AMBUSH pairs. Setting the moody scene for the evening were glowing lights that doused gigantic posters of the latest Swoosh sneaks in a red shimmer. A large shoe wall sat behind the stage to show off the Nike offering that has landed at the multi-brand retailer.
Sneakerhead and Aussie music industry aficionado 24 Karat Kev hosted the evening and welcomed up-and-comers Miko Mal and PANIA to the stage for live performances. Both artists kept the crowds jiving with their signature music styles, performing in style with Swoosh-adorned outfits. In between the artists were energetic DJ sets from SAL and DJ Shawdowz to keep the party going.
Royal Stacks burgers were on offer in Swoosh-branded boxes, and Vodka Soda & kept the drinks flowing all night long. Guests didn’t leave empty handed either, with specialised Harrolds' Pringles chips handed out at the conclusion of the festivities.
Merging the sneaker, fashion and music worlds, Harrolds' night of Nike was the perfect way to celebrate the relationship.
