Event Recap: atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light Launch Event by Solebox

European sneaker hub Solebox have celebrated the release of the much-anticipated with a stunning launch event in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Bringing together homegrown sneaker royalty and creative director Hirofumi ‘Koji’ Kojima all the way from Japan, the event transformed the local exhibition space into an Air Max2 Light–themed DIY-style workshop embodying the 90s graf aesthetic that’s made the vibrant release one of the most memorable collaborations in recent times.

Koji also spoke about his inspirations, referring to a popular Japanese proverb ‘express with your own body’. Using the quote as a muse, he says physical interactions and new experiences all play a part in his sneaker designs. He even credited Amsterdam’s architecture as a muse, describing the differences between the city’s buildings compared to Japan.
