Event Recap! Footpatrol’s Celebratory 20th Anniversary ‘The Blueprint’ Exhibition
was founded in 2002, meaning that this year they’re celebrating their 20th anniversary! Kicking off the party this past weekend, they curated an epic two-day installation at Noho Studios dubbed ‘The Blueprint’. It chronicled the retailer’s 20-year journey, with everything from its early days, to their countless collaborations. Fans who attended the weekend-long exhibition were amazed with the never-before-seen Footpatrol samples on display, sneak peeks at collaborations, and panel discussions with heavy hitters in the sneakersphere.
One of the highlights was a project curated by , who deconstructed Footpatrol’s , 'Squad', 'Storm' and Gel-Saga 'Anime’, crafting a unique creation given the moniker ‘HK-FP-91’. Alongside Kirkum, Footpatrol commissioned Lorenz OG to put his signature gradient spin on a pair of . Plenty of the retailer's collaborative samples were also on show, including but not limited to, the ASICS Gel-Saga Grey, and ‘Encyclopaedia’. After perusing all the sneakers, fans entered the archival t-shirt room, housing an exclusive t-shirt and hoodie made for the store in 2002.
