Event Recap: G-Shock x Sneaker Freaker 'Redback' Halloween Launch Party
and Sneaker Freaker launched their new collaboration at the coolest (and spookiest) Halloween party in town.
Melbourne establishment Belleville provided the backdrop for the ghoulish gathering, with hundreds of costume-clad partygoers packing into the arachnid-themed bash.
Celebrating 35 years of G-SHOCK and 15 years of Sneaker Freaker, the collaborative DW-5700 ‘Redback’ is a follow-up to the ‘Nightowl’ DW-6900 watch from 2015. Highlighted with its grey exterior and blood-red ‘vampire’ display, the 'Redback' was on show for all to see, along with a swag of other prized G-Shock artefacts.
New York legend DJ Hurricane, Melbourne locals Hans DC and Yo! Mafia, as well Sydney’s Kwame and Kaiit ensured the crowd was monster mashin' well into the night.
