First Look: The Air Jordan 1 Element is Equipped With GORE-TEX
To go with the recently revealed , it looks like the iconic is getting another cold-weather remix from . Dubbed the AJ1 Element, this new rendition is equipped to deal with inclement conditions thanks to the inclusion of We've seen the Air Force 1 given the same treatment, so the membrane hitting MJ's first signature sneaker doesn't come as a huge surprise.
With IRL pics surfacing for the first time, we get a look at the colour scheme, which is comprised of 'Sail', 'Light Bone', 'College Grey', and black. There's GORE-TEX branding hitting the grey heel section, which matches the ankle collar with traditional Wings logo. Black is used for the base and overlays, which is constructed with a more rugged look than we're used to seeing. The side Swoosh looks to be white, but it could be reflective material – difficult to tell from the flash in the pics. A white midsole and black/grey midsole round things out.
