Fresh off the back of the regional release of the , another sneaker is on the way. This particular drop is an , which arrives in a distinct premium look with intricate details nodding to the sneaker-loving nation. Here’s a first look at ‘em!
As pictured, we can see the kicks have a ‘Sail’-coloured upper covered in Korean (aka Hangul) characters embroidered on the toe box and quarter panels that roughly translate to ‘Just Do It’. Instead of the usual colours mimicking the South Korean flag, this colourway makes use of a palette of red, blue and yellow, which is the traditional Korean colour combo known as Obangsaek. The same colours find their way onto the tongue tags and heel strips, while the sole unit features a matching sail midsole, with a white outsole for a subtle contrast.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Hangul’ hasn’t got an official release date yet, but rumours suggest it could be dropping on South Korea’s Hangul Day – a holiday celebrating the Korean alphabet – on October 9. Stay tuned for more info.
