To celebrate one of the greatest 80s Christmas movies ever, are gifting this holiday season with the Gremlins x PUMA collection. latest pop-culture release is part of an exclusive collaboration with Warner Bros. that delivers a mismatched pair of kicks and complementary threads, so you can hoop while unleashing your inner Mogwai.
The centrepiece of this collaboration is a mismatched pair of the PUMA . This pits good and bad furballs side by side, which is a tip of the hat to the mischievous but polar opposite critters sharing a lifeblood. Each shoe is styled and titled after the central protagonist and antagonist from the classic 1984 Warner Bros. movie, with the right hand side sneaker taking its name from everybody’s favourite heroic furball Gizmo and the left with the namesake of the sinister leader Stripe.
Each shoe comes to life with the finer details, including Gizmo’s and Stripe’s faces grinning cheekily from the heel. The Furry Mogwai tongue includes the ‘Three Rules’ for taking care of one's Mogwai, and the shoe bottoms are scarred with Gremlin scratch marks, suggesting perhaps these really are alive… Since they’re a hooping shoe, they offer more than style, with the All-Pro NITRO’s NITROFOAM tech providing a supportive and comfortable silhouette and the mesh upper providing breathability. The release is also accompanied with Gremlins tees, sweatpants, and a hoodie.
