Update November 22, 2023: The HAL Studios x adidas Velosamba now has a release date confirmed for November 23. Price details haven't been announced but it's reported that only 300 pairs will be available exclusively via HAL Studios online at 3:00 AM PST/6:00 AM EST.
It’s been a big year of sneaker colabs for . The Western Australia based creative house and their label continue to solidify their status as a worldwide force in the sneaker market with a trio of collaborations. Earlier this year, they competed in the adidas Consortium Cup with their rendition of the Superstar, and they’ve been teasing a link-up with adidas ever since. It all started with some Season 3 collection shots that provided a sneak peek at what looked like a , and the same design was then teased during a Paris Fashion Week photo drop by HAL STUDIOS director John Bouquet.
A few weeks ago, the colab was officially confirmed with Bouquet sharing some close-up first looks of not just a Samba, but a Velosamba, which is the cyclist answer to the Samba. With a similar aesthetic to the OG, this version of course includes bike riding technologies like a nylon plate and a cleat mount for an optimal cycling experience.
HAL Studios seem to be hinting at an imminent release date with some more detailed shots of their multi-purpose cycling shoe arriving, along with a brand new product page.
