He Did What?! Kanye West Gives Love to Nike on Twitter

Kanye West’s move from Nike to adidas is the stuff of legend. Since that famed 2013 fallout, the rapper/designer/Presidential candidate has seemingly made a conscious effort to distance himself from Team Swoosh, even throwing out the occasional diss. However, it looks like even ‘Ye can forgive, taking to Twitter to give some love to the new .

Judging from the two Tweets, Kanye is clearly a huge fan of the ultra-modern silhouette, even proclaiming he ‘needs a pair’.

At present, Kanye is worth approximately $1.3 billion, after overcoming $50 million in debt he claimed to have accumulated back in 2016. A large portion of Ye’s wealth can be attributed to the 11 per cent royalty he receives on all Yeezy revenue, which was reported to be $1.3 billion in 2019.

We know he’s open to Nike re-releasing his iconic Air Yeezy, but could these Tweets foreshadow another stanza with the Swoosh in the future? We wouldn’t bet on it, but it’s fun to speculate.
