Air heads worldwide trawled our , storming their locals looking to scoop up some crispy ‘Bacon’ to celebrate their favourite unofficial holiday. The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Bacon’ originally released in the early 2000s in collaboration with world famous sneaker store DQM (Dave’s Quality Meat) which has since closed down, and has become a white whale for many Air Max fanatics around the globe. Word surfaced last year about its return, and while the drop was delayed, Air Max Day 2021 couldn’t have been a better date.
The name ‘Bacon’ says it all. Inspired by the salty pork, the colourway has been crafted using a mix of Sail/Straw/Medium Brown/Sheen and constructed with mix of both suede and leather. The drop also contained pink arch inserts and multiple lace options. Which colour did you choose?
