Here's What Sneakerheads Wore for Air Max Day 2022

Air Max Day went down over the weekend on March 26 and Air-heads around the globe celebrated wholeheartedly! Fans laced up their favourite models, whether the Air Max Plus, Air Max 95 or the Air Max 1, which was the obvious favourite this year.

2022’s Air Max Day wasn’t as big as previous years such as when Nike introduced Vapormax or the ‘Vote Forward’ campaign, however it was still a pretty epic day. Team Swoosh chose to release a slew of Air Max 1s, all region exclusives with the ‘Blueprint’ hitting North America, ‘La Ville-Lumière’ in the EU and ’Wabi-Sabi’ AKA ‘Premium’ touching down in select APAC regions and South America.

On-foot during Air Max Day there was a barrage of the freshly-touched-down Air Max 1s, with fans lacing them up the minute they copped to honour the unofficial hol-Air-day. Concepts' recent mix-and-match collaboration was on heavy rotation and plenty were still riding the Patta ‘Wave’. We witnessed plenty of old and plenty of new, all worn to acknowledge the decades-old tech from Team Swoosh. On the Air Max 90 front, the ‘Bacon’, ‘Infrared’ and ‘Laser Blue’ were all on show. We clocked some pretty sought-after Air Max 95s alongside some rarities with crumbling soles.
