How to Style the Air Jordan 1 'Georgetown'

The release of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Georgetown’ has been slow, its date was changing regularly but it finally hit select APAC regions toward the beginning of 2022 and then on April 2 it received a Stateside drop. Even the pre-release cycle was lengthy, we actually first heard about the return all the way back in July of 2021 with leaked imagery and word flying around on an almost-monthly basis since. Everyone was psyched, and they had good reason to be, because this AJ1 is actually a recreation of the fabled ‘Georgetown Hoyas’ Player Exclusive from way back in 1985. It also uses the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 version, which according to Jordan Brand, accurately represents Michael Jordan’s first signature model.

Kicking off our How to Style editorial for this week is @machayan__56​ who's rocking a crisp tonal fit that perfectly complements the 'Georgetowns'. Starting from the bottom up, they've got on a loose fitting light pant mixed in with a washed denim button down. Classy! Layering it up is a fleece jacket and of course on the dome, he had to include the Yankee fitted.

@a.h.h.0702​, coming to us from Japan, is going with a full matching vibe with a junior sneakerhead! They're both looking fresh in all Kith, both the hats and hoodies are some of Ronnie Fieg's finest. The dream team both have denim on with @a.h.h.0702​ choosing a lighter wash to match the 'Georgetowns' while her partner in crime opts for a darker wash to match his kids-sized 'Dark Mariner Blues'.

Grey-on-grey is what @wcl_jacky​ chose to rock with his pair of Air Jordan 1 'Georgetowns'! Understated luxury, the beanie, oversize cashmere shirt and wool pants are all Prada. Holding his belongings is the clean sacai x Dior Saddle Bag. He's given the 'Georgetowns' an outfit that they deserve.

Last but not least is @tonosimone​ and it's looking like he's chosen to partake in an Ikea fit pic, we dig it! He's also chosen some nice garments to pair with the Air Jordan 1 'Georgetowns'. A zip-up hoodie and Carhartt work jacket sets the tone, with the Dickies pants allowing his Jays to pop.
